Named to pay homage to Pyramid Valley founder Mike Weersing who was raised in the Californian forest region famed for its giant redwood (sequoia) trees. An assemblage of individual parcels from the Rippon vineyard in Central Otago, overseen by Nick Mills,  close friend and long-time collaborator of Mike. A beautifully composed Pinot Noir with baked cherry, dried herb and red flower aromas, dark plum and wood spice notes.
