“The Heretaunga Wine Studio is an amazing adventure that engages all the senses.” 

Truly a one-of-a-kind wine tasting experience, the Heretaunga Wine Studio offers a private, sensory journey exploring major winegrowing regions across New Zealand in our intimate barrel hall and theatre.

Guided by our Sommelier, guests sample limited-production wines from our family of fine wine estates in the North and South Islands – Smith & Sheth, Pyramid Valley and Lowburn Ferry. We will awaken the senses through interactive storytelling, tasting a range of wine varieties and styles, drawing select samples from the barrel, and immersing in audio-visual delight.

Reservations are necessary and must be made 48hrs in advance to guarantee a place. Please note, for bookings of groups less than 8, there may be additional guests booked within the same time slot.

This experience is offered Tuesday - Saturday, at 1:30pm only.
Please allow approximately 2 & 1/2 hours for the Studio experience.
