2020 Korimako Pinot Noir
Renowned for its beautiful birdsong, the korimako (bellbird) is found in forests throughout New Zealand and the inspiration for the original name of this Waipara vineyard planted in 2002. These vines grow on gentle east-facing slopes and clay loam soils, producing grapes with dark, ripe flavours and incredible complexity. Hand-harvested Pinot Noir fermented with wild yeasts, then cellared for 18 months in French oak before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
